The Beginning of My Journey: Through Trials, Places, and Blessings
Since the age of 18, my life has been an incredible mosaic of different countries, cultures, and nations. I have lived among them, shared their daily lives, won their hearts, and developed a deep, enduring warmth for the diversity of humanity. This journey has completely reshaped my perspective, allowing me to view the world through a completely fresh and profound lens.
Throughout this path, the Almighty tested me in various ways. Some trials were heavy and frightening, while others were beautifully demanding. There were seasons when I was completely immersed in gratitude, standing firm in prayer and devotion. Yet, there were also dark moments of disobedience and rebellion, where I found myself drifting away from His commands.
In recent years, I achieved material success—a well-paying job, financial comfort, and a life of independence where I answered to almost no one. But this comfort came with a devastating price: my work left no room for my daily prayers. Feeling the void, I made a sincere prayer: "O Allah, if any worldly success or lucrative job distances me from Your right path and my worship, take it away from me."
And now, it feels as though the Almighty is answering that prayer, opening a grand new door. Tomorrow, Insha'Allah, I am flying to Bulgaria. But before that, my heart demands a stop in Istanbul—a city so dear to me. I am returning to visit my mentors, my cherished friends, and the places that shaped who I am.
Looking back, at the beginning of this year, I stumbled upon a comment I had left on my English teacher’s Telegram channel. To the question, "What are your plans for 2026?", I had enthusiastically replied: "I want to travel to 30 more countries." Incredibly, the Schengen visa I now hold grants me exactly that opportunity. While I may not have fully realized this dream just yet, being on the precipice of it fills me with certainty that the Almighty, who brought me this far, will guide me to its fulfillment.
This is the opening page of my travel journal. I invite you to join me as I document the trials, the rewards, and the unforgettable memories that await me in the chapters yet to be written, Insha'Allah.
